FFM Core Values
We write music through meditation on the scriptures, by constant prayer, continual praise, practical aspects of our lives such as our personal experiences, and also through earnest studying of the word of God.
All of our writers are accountable to a Spiritual father who gives oversight and nourishes us through grace and word impartation. Whatever God gives to us, we give freely. We stand fast in the rule that Gods revelation should not be merchandised. We are merely stewards of His anointing and revelation.
“God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”
Our vision has always been to create music which focusses on worship to God rather than a secular performance. Our music, which has been written and composed by us, is born out of personal devotion to God (in our closets/quiet times with God). Some songs were even written in our covenantal gatherings. This was probably God’s way of showing us that we need each other in order to accomplish something. His word states that the anointing is in the cluster in Isaiah 65:8, “The new wine is found in the cluster”. There is always a deeper level of grace when the body of Christ comes together.
The type of music we write appeals to the spirit man and seeks to nourish and stimulate a deeper desire for the word of God in an individual. Our aim is that whilst listening and through the prompting of worship that you would empower yourself in “spirit and truth”, for what is worship without the word of God? Our God delights in worship that is filled with the spirit and His truth. This is the true reflection of Him.
